District 3 Commander Jason Cokinos stopped a driver early on Nov. 2 for driving 110 mph on I-270 near I-495 when he was rudely interrupted by another reckless motorist in a Mercedes who crashed into the back of his vehicle.

No serious injuries were reported, according to the commander, who was out of his vehicle when the Mercedes caused the crash.

It is unclear what caused the crash, which is under investigation.
